Linkage

This plugin lists records of related apps that match the conditions, or copies them to a table, while you view or edit a record. It can also convert tables of related apps into records and list them. It works with the plugins in the Boost! series, so Boost! Style and Boost! Action can run after copying.

HOW TO USE

How to use

01

Show the referenced records

The list of referenced records is shown when the record is displayed and when the value of a field used for the association changes.

If a field that cannot be edited, such as a calculated field, is specified for the association, changes to its value cannot be detected, so the list is not updated automatically. Click the reload button below the list.

02

Check the results

The statistics are shown in the fields specified for copying them.

Do not change the values of the fields to which statistics are copied with other programs. To make them read-only, use Boost! Style.

The statistics are also shown on the record detail screen, but at that point they are not saved in the record. To save them, open the edit screen and save.

03

Open the list of the datasource app

Click the app button below the list.

The list view of the datasource app opens in a new window, filtered by the conditions of the referenced records.

If the conditions include fields in a table, the conditions for those fields are excluded.

04

Edit in the list

If you select "Enable direct editing" on the settings screen, an edit button appears below the list.

Click the edit button to edit records in the list without opening the datasource app.

Plugins in the Boost! series installed in the datasource app do not run while editing or saving.

05

Copy to a table

When the copy feature is enabled, a copy button appears below the list.

Click the copy button to copy the referenced records to the table. If Boost! Style or Boost! Action is installed in the same app, processes triggered by fields in the table run after copying.

Records cannot be copied on the record detail screen.

06

Copy in bulk from the list view

If you select "Place a button on the list view page as well, so that bulk copying can be done.", the bulk copy button appears here.

Boost! Action does not run during a bulk copy.
