Report

This plugin creates templates with a dedicated report layout tool and outputs PDFs. You do not need to prepare a separate background PDF. Used together with Boost! Mail, it can create a PDF and send email at the same time.

SETTING

Setup

01

Specify the conditions

First, specify the conditions under which the process runs.

Settings

Conditions for operation
Specify the conditions of the records to process.
Authorized users
To allow execution based on the logged-in user, or the departments and groups the user belongs to, in addition to the conditions for operation, specify who is allowed.
Action Available Event
Specify the event on which the process runs (after a record is saved successfully on the add screen, after a record is saved successfully on the edit screen, a button click on the detail screen, or bulk execution from the list view).

For details on the injector, see the Boost! Injector page.

02

Specify the items for the event

Some events have additional items to specify.

Settings

Execute Button Label
If you specify "Clicking the button on the record detail page" or "Bulk Execution from List View" as the event, enter the label of the execute button.
Execution Confirmation Dialog Message
If you specify "Clicking the button on the record detail page" or "Bulk Execution from List View" as the event, enter the message of the confirmation dialog.
Executable List View
If you specify "Bulk Execution from List View" as the event, specify the views in which the execute button is shown.
03

Specify the settings

Next, create the template of the PDF.

Settings

Template Settings

Create the PDF template with the report layout tool. For how to use it, see the Layup page.

Finally, specify the file name and storage location of the PDF.

Settings

Filename Field
Specify the field used as the PDF file name. Only text fields outside tables can be specified.
Attachment Field
Specify the field in which the created PDF is saved. Only attachment fields outside tables can be specified.

PDFs are not overwritten; each one is added to the attachment field when it is created. When attachments are sent with Boost! Mail, all files in the field are attached, so previously created PDFs are sent as well.

PDFs are created on our server. When a PDF is created, the record values and images printed on the report are sent. The data sent is used only to create the PDF and does not remain on the server afterward.

HOW TO USE

How to use

01

Create a PDF

When the event specified on the settings screen occurs and the specified conditions are met, a PDF is created and saved in the attachment field.

Used together with Boost! Mail, the created PDF can be attached to email and sent. Specify the same field as this plugin for the attachment field of Boost! Mail, and set the execution order so that this plugin runs before Boost! Mail.

02

Create from the record detail screen
